For Those About To Rock

I Salute You!
;0)

haha...  any AC/DC lovers out there?  How 'bout lovers of the movie School of Rock!? I love that movie so much!

Anyhoo, I just got my new set of Bundle monster plates (25 piece set) in the mail a couple days ago.  Which I was totally stoked about b/c amazon predicted they wouldn't get here for another 5 days or so.

Early nail mail ROCKS!  hahah!

So, I had to try them out.  Among my favorite and most anticipated images are the skull and the nautical star.  Thus, this mani was born!

I tried them out on the "practice mani" below:

Skull Practice mani with plate BM 206, BM 211, BM 08
More after the break!!!!!!

I had this idea of putting a crown on the skull image.  Not sure if I invented it or not, but I haven't seen it around the web at all yet.  =)

I was going to use the crown from BM 215 but my boyfriend liked the crown image from the original BM set (plate BM08) better.  So I went with that one.  I have to say I agree!  I gives it a kind of UK punk rock edge where the BM 215 crown is more cartoon-ey.  Right?  or am I cray cray.  ah well...

Here's the final look:

I was aiming for having the stars fall at the center of the nail near the cuticle.  As you can see I totally missed and ended up stamping to the side most of the time.  But who cares!?  It looks more punk rock that way, RIGHT!?  haha!  =)

Edited to say:  I used the Sally Hansen Chrome nail polish pens for the stamping:  fuscia chrome and silver chrome.  Oh, and the base is WnW Black Creme.  =)

On a totally unrelated note, I'm going to get serious for a spell even though I'd really like for the most part to keep my personal life separate from my blog:

Our oldest kitty Hunter had a really rough day today.  He woke up this morning vomiting and having some rather yucky poopies (sorry if I'm getting too personal here).  *sigh*  We estimate him to be around 15 years old now.

We're not exactly sure how old the guy is because we adopted him from the SPCA in Santa Cruz and they had no record of his age.  Apparently he had been in and out of the shelter a few times before we took him to his forever home.  Poor guy.  But his life after has been nothing but WONDERFUL!  He has a lot to live for.

Here's Hunter. This was before I cut my dreads off!  lol He's all, "Oh, mommy!" =0P
Hunter says, "Why yes, yes I do love my animal print blankys"!
Anyway, we're hoping that he will bounce back like he usually does.

I just ask that if you're reading this, please send some good thoughts (or prayers or vibes or whatever you want to call them) his way.  He could really use them right now.

Thank you so much in advance for your positive thoughts, and I'm so sorry to bring my personal stuff into this wonderful world of nails!

WHERE TO BUY LYNNDERELLA POLISH

Ok guys. I get SO MANY EMAILS AND COMMENTS asking me where to get Lynnderella polishes. And I totally understand why! But it's gotten so overwhelming to answer you all individually. I don't have time! lol

Lynn has her own blog (and blogsales) here.

And Llarowe sells her stuff here.

So go forth and buy tons of it! And make sure to tell 'em I sent ya!
Thanks for understanding! Lacquerish =0)
